SETatWork Event at Bright Green during COP15
Saturday 12 December - Sunday 13 December 2009
SETatWork at Bright Green
Forum Copenhagen, Denmark - Stand No. 90

SETatWork is organising a match-making event on its stand at the Bright Green exhibition, organised by the Confederation of Danish Industry, which takes place in Copenhagen on 12-13 December 2009, in connection with the climate conference COP 15. The aim of the SETatWork intervention at Bright Green is to establish contacts between actors on the carbon markets. Bright Green addresses official delegates, the press, business delegates and the general public and is expected to be an excellent platform for SETatWork match-making. The SETatWork project will also be presented on the stand, under regional themes, and an updated programme is now available.
Representatives from Enterprise Europe Network and the Network’s Sector Group Intelligent Energy will be present during Bright Green and, in particular, will host the stand between 2 pm and 5 pm on Sunday 13 December.
You can also meet SETatWork team members from 7 December to 18 December 2009 at either of the following two stands in the main COP15 venue (the Bella Center, Copenhagen):
- Exhibit Booth in Hall H (right immediately after the entrance to the conference venue)
- The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) Exhibit

The new improved SETatWork Database is now online and will be officially launched on the SETatWork Stand at Bright Green (12-13 December 2009).
The SETatWork Database contains information about Sustainable Energy Technology and Service Providers as well as details of organisations, projects and case studies to help you find funding, advice, background information and support for both in-house and third-party Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy projects in the Carbon Markets (EU ETS, CDM and JI).
The database links in with and supports the Assessment Tool, which has been designed to help you find the most economical option for you to answer your CO2 emission problems, leading to reduction of emissions through investing in either internal or external projects.
Promote your Organisation via the SETatWork Database
Sustainable Energy Technology Providers, as well as Service Providers within the Carbon Markets can submit material to the SETatWork Database including Contact Details and Activities, Case Studies and Partner Search / Project Brokerage requests.
Promote Your Technologies
If you are a supplier of sustainable energy technology, providing equipment within any of the target areas as listed below, you can establish a company profile to advertise your products by submitting details of projects you have been involved in as Case Studies.
Relevant technologies:
- Energy efficient technologies for EU ETS Industries
- Wind energy equipment
- Biomass based energy technologies
- Photovoltaics
- Solar water heating equipment
- Mini hydro
- Geothermal
- Polygeneration (combined heat/power or cooling/power systems)
A database of Technology Providers has been created on this website. By registering with the SETatWork database and completing the Case Study Form you can request an entry containing the following information linked to your projects:
- Short profile of your company
- Description of your Technology
- Contact information
- Link to your company homepage
- Details of projects where your Technology has been used
After you have registered you will immediately start to benefit from the services offered by SETatWork and will be automatically registered to receive the SETatWork Newsletter which is sent out 4-8 times per year.
Promote your Services
If your organisation provides project, carbon market, finance or funding services
to EU ETS industries to assist them in in-house and external Sustainable Energy
projects within the Carbon Markets, you can
register with
SETatWork for inclusion of a Service Provider profile for your organisation
in the SETatWork Database.
Case Study examples involving companies governed by the EU ETS, including CDM and JI projects, will be added to the SETatWork Database and promoted at SETatWork events as the project progresses.
These may be current or completed projects or might be potential projects for which you are looking for partners or finance options.
The best Case Studies will be added as Good Practice (GP). These are completed projects that have realised CO2 reductions. The GPs enable companies and other organisations to further promote their Sustainable Energy projects. They also act as a reference when searching for partners and ideas for your projects.
