Project Partners Request: Advanced, 6-MW ventilation air methane (VAM) oxidizer and electricity generation, China

China Coal Information Institute is looking for partners for a project involving installing an advanced, 6-MW ventilation air methane (VAM) oxidizer and electricity generation equipment at the No. 4 coal mine in Pingdingshan. The estimated investment to construct this project is $20 million USD. This project will ultimately result in methane emissions reductions by capturing and using otherwise wasted CMM from the Pingdingshan No. 4 coal mine. 400,000 MTCO₂E reduction per year.
