Federal Public Service Health, Safety of the Food Chain and Environment was established in 2001 with a number of DGs, including DG environment, within which Service Climate Change plays a central role, constructive and proactive in international politics, European, national and federal in achieving the international commitments of Belgium in the context of the Kyoto Protocol on climate change.
