Installed in the heart of Plastics Valley (near Oyonnax) which is the location for 12% of the French plastic industry, PEP is a centre of competences equipped with powerful scientific and technical means. PEP was created in 1990 with the help of the principal professionals of plastic industry: machine, mould and die manufacturers, plastic producers and transformers, toolmakers... It was conceived with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the plastic industries by improving the research and technology developments. Born from the needs of the plastic companies, it is able to meet today's requirements with confidence and to anticipate tomorrow's developments.

To honour this mission, the PEP is organized into 3 Business Units:
